Said to have originated from the cultural capital of Maharashtra, Sev Puri is a beloved street food of not just Pune but all over the state of Bombay and beyond. This Diwali, pair your party drinks with this savoury and spicy snack - topped with our actually healthy and 100% real Garlic + Chilli flavour bomb.

  • Don't let the Sev Puri just sit on a plate. They taste best served on demand or as soon as they’re ready to eat.

Ingredients: 

  • 300 grams of bite-sized Paneer cubes 
  • 10 to 12 Papdis or Puris 
  • Boombay’s Chilli + Garlic Sauce 
  • ½ of a chopped Onion 
  • Chopped coriander 
  • Finely chopped Tomatoes 
  • Green Chutney  
  • Sev to garnish 
  • Chopped coriander

Method

Prep:
  1. Finely chop the onions, tomatoes and coriander leaves before setting them aside.
  2. Boil 2 to 3 medium or large potatoes in a pressure cooker, pan or instant pot until soft and tender.
  3. Once they cool down, peel and chop the potatoes into small cubes.

Cook:
  1. Sev Puri requires no elaborate cooking. All you need to do is assemble the prepped ingredients.
  2. Place a flat puri or papdi on a plate.
  3. Add the onions and tomatoes to the puri or papdi base.
  4. Sprinkle chaat masala to your heart’s desire.
  5. Top with paneer, green chutney and Boombay’s Chilli + Garlic Sauce.

Garnish:

Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves over the Sev Puris and enjoy!
