Every home swears by its own cooking technique when it comes to this cheesilicious flavour bomb. Grilled cheese is a popular late snack prepared by melting one or more slices of cheese between two slices of bread, which are grilled crispy brown in butter on a frying pan, griddle, or sandwich toaster. For a deliciously spicy flair to this simple dish, spread a layer of Boombay’s 100% natural, Garlic + Chilli Stir Fry Sauce on the bread slices.

Chef's note:

  • Cook the Grilled Cheese over slightly high heat to make it crispier on the outside and fluffier on the inside
  • Make it a meal with a deliciously healthy side of tomato soup


  • 2 tablespoons of Boombay’s Garlic + Chilli Stir Fry Sauce
  • 2 slices of your favourite Bread, preferably Sourdough, Focaccia, or Ciabatta
  • 2 slices of Cheddar Cheese
  • ¼ cup of your favourite Cheese
  • Butter to toast the bread (olive oil if vegan)

Shred the cheese

  1. Place bread on a chopping board
  2. Spread our Garlic + Chilli Stir fry Sauce on bread and add the shredded cheddar cheese on top of it
  3. Heat a skillet on medium heat
  4. Add butter to it and gently lay the sandwich on the melted butter
  5. Toast on one side and repeat for the other
